About me
Hi! I’m Miren, the creator of NeuroNest. I earned my undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology, with a minor in Chemistry and a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, where I developed a deep passion for understanding how the brain shapes behavior and how that knowledge can be used to empower others. Now, I’m continuing that journey as a Master’s student in Integrative Neuroscience at Georgetown University.
I started NeuroNest because I know how overwhelming it can feel to navigate research, mentorship, and academic success. This space is my way of sharing what I’ve learned (and what I’m still learning), spotlighting important research, breaking down complex ideas, and helping others discover opportunities in neuroscience and psychology. Whether you’re just getting curious about the brain, applying to college/grad school, looking for some advice or looking for cool facts to fuel your passion, NeuroNest was built with you in mind.
